Certified Family Agent™ (CFA) is a designation for real estate agents who want to clearly communicate that they specialize in serving families. It’s earned through a short assessment and a review process designed to protect the integrity of the designation.
CFA is for licensed agents who work with families—first-time buyers, growing households, relocations, and move-up buyers—and want a stronger, family-first positioning in their market.
Unlike traditional designations that require passing an exam, the CFA is based on verified, real-world experience. We don't test your knowledge—we verify your actual track record of serving families. This means families can trust that your designation reflects genuine experience, not just coursework completion.
To qualify, you must be a licensed real estate agent in good standing with documented experience working with family clients. We look for agents who can demonstrate knowledge of school districts, family-friendly neighborhoods, and the unique needs of families in their markets.
After completing the assessment, our team reviews your submitted information. We verify your real estate license status and review your disclosed family transaction experience. You'll attest to the accuracy of the information provided, and we may request additional documentation if needed.
The assessment takes 5-10 minutes to complete. Once submitted, our AI platform will validate your responses and let you know instantly if you are qualified for our designation. If an agent passes our validation process you he/she will be then be able to move forward with payment and will then immediately receive CFA assets via email.
We are currently launching in select markets only in California and will have "Founding Agent" pricing for the first 30 days of our launch. Price is $259 (normal pricing $529). We will be launching April 1, 2026 Nationwide.
Your certification includes the official CFA™ designation, a professional digital badge for your website and social media, a printable certificate, listing in our searchable agent directory, and a family marketing strategy guide to help you attract more family clients.
Once certified, you can use the CFA™ designation after your name on business cards, email signatures, and marketing materials. You'll also receive digital badges optimized for your website, social media profiles, and email signatures.
Your profile will be listed in our online directory, searchable by location and specialty areas. Families looking for family-focused agents in your area can find you, view your verified experience, and contact you directly through the platform (coming in April 2026)
Absolutely! We encourage you to promote your certification. You'll receive brand guidelines and approved messaging to use in your marketing materials, social media posts, and client communications. The designation is designed to help you stand out to family clients.
Yes! The CFA designation helps you differentiate yourself in a crowded market. Families actively seek out agents who understand their specific needs—school districts, safe neighborhoods, family-friendly amenities. Your verified experience gives them confidence in choosing you over non-certified agents.
Families can search our online directory by location, view agent profiles showing disclosed experience, and contact agents directly. Profiles include your verification status, experience highlights, and contact information. We also actively market the directory to families searching for agents.
